Welcome to the MacEssentials Tutor Training Modules!

This learning module contains the following subunits: Units 1 and 2 will provide you with an overview to your role as a PBL tutor; then we will share some key readings about the PBL tutor and group process. Following completion of Units 1 and 2, you will receive a certificate of completion for your records or for your program’s documentation requirements.

Units 3 and 4 are for tutors in the Undergraduate Medical Education program. These units will cover the PBL Final assessment process as well as a primer on tutoring in a virtual PBL environment. Following completion of all four units in this module, UGME tutors will be directed to the program office to arrange a tutorial observation experience.

we encourage you to take advantage of the self-enrollment option, enabling you to participate in the course as a learner at your own pace and convenience. To enroll as a learner, enter the access key "mac2024/25" in the second field of the enrollment section.
